Derby Days 08Derby Days has begun on monday, with an intense game of Dodgeball located at North with the winners Delta Zeta followed by runner ups Kappa Alpha Theta. Tuesday begins the Penny Wars located outside of Chuck & Auggies in the Student Union. Please donate what change you have to benefit our philanthropy the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Wednesday will be "Sign a Sig" Day with several brothers wearing shirts all sorority sisters can sign to get points for their chapter. Thursday, will be the field games @ the village consisting of tug of war, pass and catch competition, 40 m dash, and a potato sack race. Friday, will be the Sweetheart Pagaent. 65th Anniversary
Gamma Omega's 65th anniversary was very successful with an action-packed day at Holiday Hill which included a picnic style lunch, a softball among undergraduates from the Gamma Omega Chapter, Gamma Omega Alumni, and Sigma Chi Lambda of University of Hartford, and an intense game of tackle football amongst the ungraduates. Also a fun-filled evening at Zenny's with awards given to Consul Jacob Herrywyn and graduate brother Matt Boucher. The international sweetheart from Yale accompanied by a couple Yale brothers were in attendence with hundreds of dedicated Alumni of the Gamma Omega Chapter. Auctions and Raffles were performed to benefit the Huntsman Cancer Institute, thank you for all those who donated and bid on the items.
